Nervous system: bottom up techniques of neuroplasticity

Yoga works to rewire our nervous systems in BOTH top down (from an idea to the body, cognitive reframing) and bottom up (from the body to changed thoughts) ways. This sequence explores the body up mechanisms of neuroplasticity, including repetition and novelty (emotional engagement and mindful awareness are the two other pillars of how this works.). This is a 70 minute sequence that starts with a ten minute discussion and ends with a long savasana.
